After Graduation

Marist graduates have accepted jobs around the nation. Many graduates end up working for large corporations in nearby New York City. Norton says he’s seen graduates with as many as six job offers. Fortune 500 companies recruit at Marist each year for the recent IT and computer-science grads. Norton says he’s had former Marist students who start at entry-level positions work their way up to become vice presidents. All of these opportunities are available thanks to the IBM/Marist relationship and the fantastic IT curriculum at Marist.

“There are a lot of great opportunities at Marist for pursuing your education as a computer-science major,” says Goldsmith. “Whether it’s the internships, research projects, or the relationships between students and faculty, Marist facilitates the exposure to all aspects of computer science.”
