DETAILS: This series introduces you to development on IBM i. It describes the commonly used programming languages as well as available development tools. The training emphasizes the development of integrated language environment programs using modern tools such as Rational* Developer for i and the Remote Systems Explorer, but also includes the legacy development tools PDM and SEU. It also covers DB2* concepts and describes how to create a database file using both SQL and DDS. You’ll also see the tools available for entering SQL statements and performing database queries.
