DETAILS: Version 4.3 of DR/VFI now provides greater visibility and control into an organization’s recoverability based on real-time insight and information about the use and status of critical applications and data.

The updated product provides real-time critical file- journaling capabilities. DR/VFI Real-Time SMF Extractor reads SMF data for critical file usage and feeds it to an analysis engine to determine file update and backup requirements. DR/VFI 4.3 also provides flexibility and recoverability for replicated environments. Another update provides improved reporting for DB2 and backup status.
