An Insurance Policy

Gates won’t put an ROI on implementing a solution such as Vision’s EchoStream for AIX, in part because he considers it peace of mind rather than a money saver. In fact, he, Schanau and Yang are actually putting more time into making sure the system cloning is working. But as Gates puts it, “I look at it as an insurance policy. It’s as simple as that.”
